Involvement in disasters around the world
The Ericsson Response program is based on Ericsson's previous involvement and experience in various disaster response efforts throughout the world.
Ericsson has been involved in numerous disaster response efforts, from supporting United Nations OCHA with ICT networks in Pakistan following the October 2005 earthquake to bringing teams of Ericsson Response Volunteers and container based GSM systems to the areas struck by the Tsunami in Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
In times of disaster, we will provide communications aid and work with leading disaster response organizations.
