Why and when the reverse split of shares in 2008?
The Annual General Meeting on April 9, 2008 resolved on a reverse split 1:5 of the company's shares. The reverse split has the effect that five shares of series A and five shares of series B, respectively, are consolidated into one share of series A and one share of series B, respectively. In connection with the reverse split, the ratio between the share of series B and an American Depositary Share (ADS), traded on NASDAQ, was also changed from 10:1 to 1:1. These measures are intended to increase transparency as to the pricing of the Company’s share of series B and ADS, respectively, and will at the same time result in a number of shares more suitable for the Company.
First day of trade in the company’s shares after the reverse split was June 2, 2008.
